My second favorite shoots are engagement. I love seeing couples so in love and excited about getting married. This couple was no exception.

Baby Lilly

Meet sweet little Lilly. This baby girl's first attempt at a photo session didn't go over too well, but by the second time she cooperated perfectly...as you can see.

 I think newborn sessions are my most challenging shoots, but definitely the most rewarding photos.

Baby Starr

Meet Starr...born December 29. She is such a little sweetie.

Stone House

This is my new favorite spot to photograph. The lighting is beautiful in the early morning and before sunset, so it gives me more freedom with scheduling. There are lots of trees, grass, rocks and, of course, the stone house. Here are some of my favorite shots from a session I did there recently:

The Swenson Family

Let me start out by saying that I love this family! They're so fun and very photogenic. But sometimes, let's be honest, all the cute pinterest ideas don't matter if the kids aren't cooperating! That's real life. Here's what real life looks like sometimes:

So remember, sometimes family photos can be stressful, but the memories are worth it :)

Twins!

I admit, I was a little anxious preparing for this photo shoot. I had never had the opportunity to photograph newborn twins before and I didn't know what to expect. I spent hours on pinterest getting ideas. Here's a sneak peak at Alexis and Michael's shoot from this morning:

Meet Brenda and her baby-to-be
